Here are three rumored Celtic big targets in the January window and the chances of Brendan Rodgers and the rest of the Bhoys’ board actually putting the pen to the paper.

Celtic arguably still have some work to do in the remaining weeks of the transfer window. All three areas of the pitch could do with a new signing or regular starters, in hopes that that Hoops can add to the chances of a successful treble season.

Brendan Rodger’s Celtic side have been a bit silent with any signings as of late. Rumours have been making rounds over the place which makes it seems like the Scottish giants are going to have a very big window. yet, the question remains; how many of those players will actually arrive to Paradise?

Celtic have a sound budget, but it’s nothing compared to what some big Europe’s top sides have to offer. The price tags on some players seem realistic and very affordable, others however, are not made for Celtic.

Football Weeks have highlighted three rumoured Celtic targets in the January window and the chances of the club signing any of them before the window get shuts.

1) Jack Hendry

Celtic’s arch-rivals, Glasgow Rangers are reportedly considering a move for Henry in this window. There are some other clubs reported to be interested in signing him also, but the two Scottish giants appear to be the leading in the race for his signature.

Hendry has some amazing ball-moving and tackling talents. What’s even better is that the youngster is considered homegrown talent, meaning the Scottish giants are possibly going to be a nice club to join. Additionally, joining Celtic would contribute to the urge of signing or playing for a top club elsewhere.

Hendry’s market value is near 225,000 pounds, and it should be expected that any bid would have to double this in order to get Dundee United moved to selling their starlet. Either way, the price is very affordable for Celtic and a move should be considered.

How likely:

Hendry is priced at 8.5/10 to join Celtic this window, but it would be shocking seeing him play with Dundee for the next year. Hendry seems heavily linked with Rangers and Celtic, and the Rodgers’ side have a very good chance of beating their old-firm rivals to his signature.
