3) Daniel Sturridge
There’s a lot of questions marks surrounding Daniel Sturridge futute at Anfield. Rodgers hasn’t seemed to credited with any interest in the Liverpool striker, but the Northern Irish boss does have some history with the England international.
His days with Liverpool are numbered. The once striker leading the line for Liverpool has now been replaced with a completely different attacking trio led by Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Saido Mane.
Sturridge’s is far down the perking order under Jurgen Klopp, but there doesn’t seem to be any sign of a desire to leave Anfield. In 14 appearances for the Reds, the England international has netted 3 goals and created 3 assists.
Despite the limited playing time, the 28-year-old will still come at a huge price. Even though his price tag of 20 million pounds can still get beaten down, I do not see Celtic singing a player who only has a couple more prime years left in him.
How likely: 5/10
We are pricing Sturridge at 5/10 to join Celtic. The hefty price involved is a huge problem, but it still seems that Klopp often chose to use the striker on the bench. Liverpool still have some tough challenges in the Premier League and in the Champions League. The Reds will need to give their starting attackers a rest for a while, and we could see Sturridge getting the chance to make the lineup.
