Celtic have been handed yet another injury boost with Tom Rogic back in training.

The midfielder hasn’t been involved in the club’s playing activity since the 1-0 defeat to Anderlecht at the start of December.

Details on Rogic’s injury have been thin on the ground but a return to full training would suggest that the Australian could be back in first team action over the next 10 days during which the Bhoys take on Partick Thistle, Hibs and Hearts.

As well as Rogic, Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side should also see Stuart Armstrong and Leigh Griffiths return to action in couple more days. The duo missed the Bhoys’ 5-0 Scottish Cup win over Brechin City.

Report made it known that Armstrong underwent a hernia operation in Germany last week while his teammate – Griffiths – on the other hand took a full part in the warm down after the Brechin match which the Scottish missed due to an ankle injury.

The Bhoys travel to Firhill on Thursday to take on Partick Thistle looking to extend their lead over Aberdeen to 11 clear points with the Dons due to face Sevco at Ibrox 24 hours later.
