Newly-promoted Premier League club Fulham FC are reportedly eyeing move for Celtic’s and Belgium international defender Dedryck Boyata who is still on international duties with the Red Devils.
Boyata has started in all three of Belgium’s group matches in Russia, but is entering the final year of his contract with Celtic and said prior to the World Cup that he would look to sort out his future after the tournament.
Dedryck Boyata said:
“Right now, I am concentrating on the World Cup. I am not thinking about my future.
“I still have a year on my contract and we’ll see after the summer if I continue with Celtic.”
Boyata has been a target for Serie A side Lazio, while Fulham are said to be keen on the centre-back as they plan for longer spell in the top flight.
And according to The Sun, there are also reports that top teams in France and Turkey are eyeing move for Boyata. Although, it’s believed the Scottish champions are hopeful of extending Boyata’s contract this summer after the World Cup ends.
Celtic are reportedly made approach to sign Wigan Athletic defender Nathan Byrne, after backing out of chances to sign Moses Odubajo this week.
The £450,000 Transfermkt rated, has spent almost his entire career playing in English League One with a variety of clubs, although does have some Championship experience with Wolves and current club Wigan.
