However, the Northern Irish boss is expected to make changes to give some fringe players and youngsters a chance, while elsewhere he is likely to be forced into making alterations to his side due to a number of injuries.

Patrick Roberts is nearing a return to fitness after he took part in training while in Dubai, but he is not expected to be risked against lower sides while summer signing Jonny Hayes is definitely out with a broken leg.
It sees Rodgers having selection headache, and he is likely to field an almost unrecognisable Celtic side that will still be more than capable of dismantling Brechin.
Youngsters Calvin Miller, Jack Aitchison and Mikey Johnston are all expected to start, while fringe players Nir Bitton, Cristian Gamboa and £3million man Kouassi Eboue are all expected to be involved.
