Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is preparing loan moves for Chelsea duo youngsters Charly Musonda and Lewis Baker, who will both be allowed to face the exit door until the end of the season, according to a report on Football London.
Rodgers has been keeping a close eye on their situation at the Stamford Bridge and has been impressive with his superb performances so far this season, for the first team as well as Chelsea’s under-21s.
Musonda netted a sensational two goals for Chelsea under-21 side last week, including his sublime free-kick and that performance had many clubs inquiring about his availability.
According to reports, Celtic are looking to finalize the deal quickly before any other side attempt to hijack the move for the Chelsea duo, with report claiming Premier League clubs AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United are also monitoring the duo situation.
Baker on the other hand, has spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough but failed to impress and could be sent back to Chelsea this month, which would leave the door open for him to join Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers is a fan skillful and quick attacking players in the form of Musonda and he can offer the young Belgian regular competitive football in the first team.
