Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside to Oxford United in the January transfer window.
Cameron Brannagan will leave the Anfield and join Oxford United in the January transfer window, according to report from The Liverpool Echo.
It has been reported that the midfielder has become frustrated with lack of first-team football at Liverpool and will switch club to League One side Oxford.
He traveled to Oxford on Monday to discuss personal terms and will put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract with Oxford United, according to the report.
The Liverpool Echo also claimed in their report that Liverpool will get a transfer fee of around £200,000 for the former England Under-20 international, who has been at Liverpool for 16 years, having joined the Merseyside when he was just five years of age.
The midfielder has just registered nine first-team appearances for Liverpool so far in his career.
He made his professional debut under then Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers – who is now in charge of Scottish champions Celtic – against Bordeaux in the Europa League in September 2015, as reported by The Daily Mail.
