Joe Allen

Joe Allen good move for Celtic?

Allen is definitely a good one for Celtic. The midfielder maestro would be an upgrade on the current crops we have at the Celtic park such as Olivier Ntchman, Stuart Armstrong, Callum McGregor and also serve as an extra upgrade for Scott Brown. Allen would be a brilliant one to partner Brown in the middle of the flank, offering guile, craft and a major goal threat. The Welshman has scored three goals and made three assists from 21 matches this season after his debut season with season, he has found the net six times and registered four assists.

Joe Allen to Celtic Park likely to happen?

The number would certainly have to add up. It would take nothing less than £15million to price him away from the bet365 Stadium, the kind of fee the Hoops have shied well away from despite their dominance of Scottish football. It is likely that Brendan Rodger’s side would consider selling Moussa Dembele to who’s rated at £25million-plus to secure the signing of Allen this month.
