Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their frustration after Son Heung-Min was dropped to the bench for their clash against Leicester City.

The South-Korean international started last two Tottenham’s games, against Borussia Dortmund and West Bromwich Albion, and many fans were interested in seeing him start again against the Foxes.

He scored the winning goal against Dortmund in the Champions League, a brilliant curled finish, and was one of Tottenham’s stand out performers during Spurs disappointing 1-1 draw with the Baggies.

Son has however been dropped in favour of Moussa Sissoko as Spurs boss goes for more strength in midfield against a dangerous Leicester side.

Son has registered 18 appearances for Tottenham this season but the majority of those apperances have been off the bench. He has scored four goals and created two assists for Spurs in those matches.

Son who joined Spurs for a reported £22million from Bayer Leverkusen always seems to deliver for Tottenham when he plays, offering pace down the wing and brilliant finishing ability on both feet.

He has however find it difficult having a starting position for Mauricio Pochettino, especially since Spurs have switched to three at the back as their preferred formation.

Tottenham fans reacted to the lineup update that showed Son was dropped yet against against Leicester City.

Football Weeks have rounded up some of the best tweets from fans.
