According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are considering a January move for Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray.

The British newspaper claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is set for talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and chief scouts Steve Hitchen to discuss potential January targets for the club.

It is understood that Foxes winger Gray is high on their wish list, while Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is also being considered.

Spurs were linked with the Leicester’s 21-year-old in the summer and are now plotting a return move when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The Leicester City ace is renowned for being an attacker with superb speed and is an important part of the England Under-21s side.

Demarai Gray good move for Spurs?

Demarai Gray may not be making the headlines yet, but he would certainly be an exciting signing for Tottenham.

He is currently struggling to have a regular role in the starting XI at the King Power Stadium, but it’s clear how much potential he has.

Mauricio Pochettino has shown he is an expert in giving young talents chance in his starting XI and could be the perfect boss to bring the best out of Gray.

Gray usually plays as a left-winger and would add an injection of speed that is perhaps missing from the current Pochettino’s squad.

Is Demarai Gray to Tottenham likely to happen?

Tottenham have been interested in the Leicester attacker before and it would make sense that they try to bring him to the North London club in January.

Gray has let his frustration known about a lack of game-time at Leicester as he seeks to impress, but would face strong competition in Tottenham’s squad.

However, the 2016/17 Premier League champions will be reluctant to lose one of their rising stars and it could cost a large sum to prize him away from the King Power Stadium.
