It’s not a new trend anymore. Every transfer window throws up that one crazy rumour that attract so much attention, it almost feels like it could happen in some hours.
This year has been no different to any other, as Cristiano Ronaldo ‘threat’ to leave Real Madrid and potentially join Manchester United once again isn’t the only transfer bombshell that’s dropped in La Liga, as rumours have keeps making rounds that Neymar has reportedly agreed on a deal to join Paris Saint-Germain.
While the chances of the Brazilian moving to Ligue 1 not really certain, stranger things have happened.
The French side is reportedly happy to meet Barca’s £198 million clause, but the La Liga giants Vice President has already come out to claim that the chances of the Brazilian remaining at Camp Nou next season are ‘200 per cent’.
Perhaps Barca’s faithful wouldn’t be too upset should this move be sanctioned, as the constant drama surrounding an exit could finally come to an end while they’ll have plenty of funds to secure other big-names signings.
They shouldn’t start drawing you their wish list just yet, though, as Jason Burt of The Telegraph has refute rumours that the Ligue 1 giants have agreed a deal with the player, but claims that they are, in fact, closer to signing a Premier League star.
According to Burt, Les Parisians are interested in Neymar, but are much closer to luring Alexis Sanchez to Parc see Princes after the Chilean revealed his intentions to play in the Champions League – a competition Arsenal will not be competing in next season.
Neymar has not agreed a deal to PSG. But they are very interested in him as they have been for three years. Alexis Sanchez closer.

He posted: “Neymar has not agreed a deal to PSG. But they are very interested in him as they have been for three years. Alexis Sanchez closer.”
The timing of the deal does seem quite fitting, though, while the French side is also interested in bringing in a new top star this summer and have already been linked with some world class players.

The Sanchez transfer rumours has been making rounds for a while now, and although Manchester City look to be leading the race for the Chile international’s signature, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already come out and said that his prized asset will remain at the Emirates, making the job for Unai Emery more difficult.
It’s obvious just where Emery’s looking to strengthen, as reports of signing Sanchez and Neymar are following reports that they were also interested in Liverpool’s Philippe Countinho and AS Monaco’s Kylian Mbappé.
While it looks as though PSG can secure the services of Neymar, turning to Sanchez could prove to be an easier and cheaper alternative for another world class star.
