Chelsea’s triumph over Manchester has gotten them closer to the Premier League title. Manager Antonio Conte will have to add more depth  to his squad if he hopes to be a strong contender in the Premier League next season and with the Champions League coming up ahead, Conte would have to splash the funds to acquire the big-name players which would give them a shot at the European silverware. The current squad at the Stamford Bridge needs reinforcement in some areas and Conte would have commenced the search for players that can help him achieve success in both England and Europe. Here are three players Conte should set his eyes on this summer.

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

The Chilean is without a doubt the best player to come out of Arsenal this season. In 38 appearances for the Gunners this season, he has notched up 22 goals and picked up 18 assists across all competition. However he is yet to recommit his future to the club and Chelsea can make him an offer in the summer. Partnering him with  Eden Hazard and Diego Costa would do the squad some good. His presence in the Blues squad will secure their hopes of another title win and would build their strength for the Champions League.

Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)

Morata is another player that would set Chelsea ablaze. The Spaniard has put up some amazing display for the Los Blancos this season but has found it hard breaking into the first team under manager Zinedine Zidane. In 35 appearances this season, he has scored 16 goals and set up 4 more. A versatile player, Morata is capable of playing as a main striker or linking up play between the lines, and can even play out wide on the wing and this would endear him to Conte. The 24-year old is experienced in the champions League as he was part of the team that won the Champions League for Real in the 2013-14 season and he would definitely help the Blues in the campaign next season.

Isco (Real Madrid)

Real Madrid’s midfielder Isco

The Spanish midfielder is one of Europe’s best player presently but he’s hardly been handed opportunity of a regular play time at the Bernabeu.  He would be on most big clubs’ radar in Europe and could more value to Chelsea. Isco could form a strong partnership with N’Golo kante in the midfield as he’s capable of playing a deep midfield role or an attacking role. His creativity would motivate his teammates and bring about more productivity, making Chelsea a threat to rivals. Without a doubt, Isco can drive Chelsea to win the Champions League.
