Crystal Palace’s Ivorian international winger Wilfried Zaha is set to be offered a new mouth-watering 110k-a-week deal to fend off interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to British tabloid – The Sun.

The Eagles are desperate to hold on to their star winger who had alert top European sides for his superb displays in recent weeks.

Zaha followed up his amazing solo strike for his national side last week with yet another blazing goal against Premier League leader Chelsea on Saturday.

The mouth-watering new contract deal would see the former Manchester United winger triple his current wages and place him side by side with the Eagles current biggest earner Christian Benteke.

The news will no doubt come a shocking news to Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino – known as being a long-term and keen admirer of the player after seeing his £12m turned-down for the winger last summer.

However, if the 24-year-old does not sign the new deal, then the North London outfit will remain keen that they can hijack him away from Selhurst Park, as it is believed he does have a release clause in his current £35k-a-week deal.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Paris had recently told BBC Five Live’s Sportsweek: “We would love to keep Wilfried, we will sit down and talk to him as soon as we’re safe and I’m very hopeful of doing so.”

His side will remain quietly confident that they can keep hold of their star winger after helping them to a four clear wins and placed them clear of relegation trouble.

And Palace manager Sam Allardyce is willing to do what it takes to keep Zaha who has become an integral part of the team’s success at the Selhurst Park.
