Everton star Romelu Lukaku has suddenly emerged as the most talked about star in the Premier League after he recently announced that he is considering a move out from Goodison Park at the end of the season, according to SkySports. The former Chelsea forward, who has registered 19 goals to his name this season, is currently the top epl scorer and is one of the most exciting talents in England at the moment.

However, he is ready to leave Everton in search of greener pastures and if reports are anything to go by, Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in the Belgian international.

Both the EPL rivals are focus and have been scouting Lukaku recently. United are desperate for some attacking additions to backup and/or replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer transfer window whilst Chelsea are also keen on bringing new additions to their side in order to compete in new competitions next season. It would be clash of titans as neither of them is having any financial restriction and have by no means been shy in terms of player recruitment.

But the question is this, where does Lukaku fit in better? Chelsea or Manchester United. This is not an easy question to answer, but we think the Belgian would be better off at Manchester United this summer and here are the reasons why:

First Team Opportunities

Winning trophies and earning mouth-watering wages is not all Lukaku wants at his new home instead, he’s seeking for more assured chances of playing week in week out to improve as a poisonous striker and while at United, Jose Mourinho can guarantee him of same next season.

Though United recently offered Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract at the club, it is hard to see the retired Swedish international play two games a week next season and the Red Devils need a first team poacher who will lead their attack in the domestic league.

The 23-year-old with all his PL experience, is right candidate more than capable of leading the line for Mourinho’s side and surely will get more first team playing time with United than at his former club Chelsea.

The Young Brigade

The Red Devils are equipped with some of the brightest youngsters in world football currently playing at the club occasionally. Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Erick Bailly are the best stage of their careers and are sure to remain at Old Trafford for years to come. The Belgian international will fit right into Mourinho’s system as he will play alongside Pogba and Martial, and in the blink of an eye, wold take no time to adjust to life at the new club.

Though playing alongside compatriot Eden Hazard would be fruitful, he can nailed an obsolete role in front of goal for United making him an important player in the squad. Surely, the Old Trafford is a more attractive destination for him than Stamford Bridge at the moment.

The Diego Costa Factor

Without doubt, Lukaku scoring prowess would tempt Conte to use him regularly, the Blues have one of the best striker in world football in the form of Diego Costa in their ranks. At the moment, Costa is second t very few players in Europe and cannot be left out of the first team anytime soon.

Lukaku is more than capable of challenging the Spaniard for his place in the first team but having two player of that calibre will mean a waste of resources. Neither of the two would be able to lead the line consistently and it make his second appearance at the Bridge worse. Still, he will get to play more regularly at the Old Trafford.
