Liverpool have team up with top host club interested in the service of Celtic’s and France forward Moussa Dembélé this summer. The 20-year-old sensation is having a brilliant season at Parkhead under manager Brendan Rodgers bagging 32 goals in 45 appearances this season for the Scottish side.

Chelsea are thought to be favourites to sign the former Fulham star, having been series of speculation that claimed Antonio Conte attempted to bring him to Stamford Bridge on deadline day, in what would have been a massive £40m deal.

However, per Daily Mail, the Blues strong interest in Dembélé that has cooled off has given Liverpool massive boost in their bid to sign the forward as the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp his keen on strengthening his side front line – partly due to Daniel Sturridge loss of form -.

The Anfield giants will face lot of competition in their bid to sign the striker, it’s likely certain the Blues will come back for Dembele, more especially when they lose David Costa to Chinese league, however, reports also claims that Manchester City, PSG, and Arsenal have all sent scouts to watch the prolific forward in recent weeks.

He has also been scouted by France’s manager Didier Deschamps in recent weeks, with news claiming he is line for France first team call up for the upcoming international fixtures. Should Dembele continue his meteoric rise on his superb performance on international level, the interest in him – along with the asking price – will hit the roof.

It is believed that the Brendan Rodgers’s side are willing to part ways with Dembele to mover on in the summer should a bid of £40m be received, which would be a mouth-watering profit on the £500,000 it cost for the Hoops to sign him from Fulham last summer.
