Liverpool are set to make an unbeatable offer for Fulham’s youngster Ryan Sessegnon.

With Liverpool having limited options in the summer transfer window, their interest in Ryan Sessegnon remains strong.

The 16-year-old, who had an excellent display in the Championship this season, have been on the Reds radar for a while now.

The England International has also caught the eye of several top clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Sessegnon joined Fulham’s youth ranks at the age of nine and he made his professional debut in a league Cup match against Leyton Orient in August.

The attacking full-back in 23 appearances for the Cottages has netted 6 goals this season.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic nurtures hope of keeping Sessegnon at the Craven Cottage and hopes the youngsters will find a reason to stay on in the club.

“I can only tell him that he will improve if he works and stays with us,” he said. “This is how I will try to convince him to stay with the club.

“I am enjoying the opportunity to work with and use him in my squad. I hope for a long time but in this business you never know what is going to happen.”

Jurgen Klopp has little option for the left-back position and has deployed vice-captain James Milner to the position for most of this campaign.

Spaniard Alberto Moreno would likely head out of the club after making only two Premier League start all season. Moreno can’t be trusted to either pose a consistent threat going forward or be a steady presence in defensive areas.

The Reds’ issues at left-back make Sessegnon a sensible target. He is developing rapidly at Fulham, showing the attacking appetite and recovery pace to be an all-round star at full-back.

In short, Sessegnon is the exact type of raiding full-back Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp should be looking for to fit his intense-pressing style of play.
