The pair has met 13 times but Arsene Wenger is yet to claim a victory over his arch rival over Jose Mourinho. The rivalry started in 2004 when Mourinho assumed the position of Chelsea boss and up till date Wenger is still looking for his first win over the former Inter Milan coach.

Mourinho left Stamford Bridge in September 2007 and returned in July 2013 which resumed the rivalry. It got to another level in 2014 when the two clashed on the touchline which was by far their worst public confrontation.

With different crop of players for both clubs, the jinx remained and now Mourinho is at Man United, his team will clash with Arsenal this weekend November 19.

Will Wenger finally claim his first victory over his rival with his current form of the United squad. The relationship them has never been frosty. The former Real Madrid boss can boast seven wins and six draws against the Frenchman. Infact the statistics look worse for Arsenal who has only scored five times against Mourinho and conceded 23 goals in those 13 games.

Even in verbal rivalry, Mourinho is ahead of Wenger. Statements like “afraid to fail”, “specialist in failure”, “not more intelligent” and “Voyeur” have been used by the pair. Wenger rarely has problem defeating Chelsea with the likes of Carlo Ancelotti and Villas Boaz in charge but he is yet to unravel the mystery of defeating Mourinho.

However, the present Mourinho team is obviously not up to the standard of the usual Mourinho team we all know. He is unhappy and even wounded with the way things have turned out at Old Trafford. Arsenal are six points ahead of United in the sixth position.

Hostilities will be renewed again when Mourinho welcomes Arsenal to Old Trafford and it promises to be entertaining as before.

How will Wenger react and how will Mourinho feels if Wenger finally defeat him this weekend?
