Tottenham Hotspur are on top of their game so far in the Premier League this season and currently sit second in the ranking table.
Over the past four years, Tottenham’s boss Mauricio Pochettino has slowly built and managed his team on a limited budget with Davinson Sanchez the Argentine’s most expensive signing as Spurs boss.
Sanchez was signed into Tottenham under Pochettino from AFC Ajax in a reported £42 million fee according to The Guardian.
The young defender has played in North London with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in a back three.
Spanish publication Don Balon reports Real Madrid are set to place a bid of €65 million for the Colombia defender.
It’s believed Pochettino’s rotation system does not please Sanchez but with the possibilities of Alderweireld leaving for £25 million in the summer, he could be a more permanent player next season.
As it stands in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side have moved nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a victory over Arsenal, after Spurs slipped up at Wembley.
Spurs, who were leading Wolves at half-time, succumbed to a shock 3-1 defeat at Wembley after having the chance to close the gap on Klopp’s side to three points.
