Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that thier side will play Rangers for the third year running in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The draw recently revealed on the official Scottish Cup Twitter account.
Unsurprisingly, fans are excited about the upcoming fixture, which will be most likely to come up on the 15th of April.
Celtic reach the semi-final after the club defeated Morton in the quarter-final 3-0 on Saturday.
The results of thier previous semi-finals between the two sides have been a mixed bag for Celtic, with Rangers winning 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in 2016 and the Scottish Cup holders easing to a 2-0 victory last season courtesy of goals from Callum McGregor and Scott Sinclair.
The semi-final will be the second of three Old Firm derbies before the end of the season, with the two sides meeting in vital league match at Ibrox next week, with another league game at Celtic Park scheduled for after the SPFL league split.
As has so often been the case, the Hoops will have to overcome their biggest rivals if they are to claim one of the biggest prizes in Scottish football, which takes on even bigger significance this season as the Hoops’ hope of a second consecutive domestic treble will be at stake.
