Arsenal boss Unai Emery has reportedly identified Celtic’s Kieran Tierney as a potential summer transfer target, according to a report from the Mirror.
Tierney is a real fan favourite at Parkhead, and Hoops fans would hate to see him leave in the summer.
Celtic could find it hard to keep hold of the 21-year-old, however, with a club like Arsenal allegedly monitoring his situation in Glasgow.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is said to be looking to strengthen his left-back department, and Tierney seems to fit the bill perfectly.
The Scot is a player who would bring both youth and quality to Arsenal’s back-line, with Nacho Monreal ageing and doubts amidst Sead Kolasinac’s ability and future in the long-run.
It will take a hefty bid to prise Tierney away from Celtic, with his current deal running until 2023 and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal can come up with a package that would entice the Scottish champions into parting ways with their prized asset.
