West Ham United face a tough months ahead of them as the club seek to retain their Premier League status, then the move for new bloods in the summer transfer window will help strengthen the core of their squad.

The Hammers have mush ambitions since making the move to the London Stadium but the have so far fallen well short of those objectives, leading David Moyes to have a difficult challenge on his hands in the close-season.

However, there’s reasons to be optimistic as the Hammers have shown with their record deal to sign Marko Arnautovic last summer that they’re not afraid to put their money where their mouth is and the most recent reports are exciting.

It’s claimed according to reports that the London club are ready to toe-to-toe with Leicester City for services of Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts, who has shown with Celtic in recent times and could be available for around £15m at the end of the season.

The 21-year-old would certainly be an impressive signing for the Hammers but Roberts isn’t the only Celtic player that the club should be targeting, as this trio would also provide a huge boost.
