Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has delivered his side latest injury update having clear up talk that Tom Rogic could return to action sooner than expected after appearing at training earlier this week.
The Northern Irish boss said last weekend that the injured midfielder could be ruled out of action for a further “six to eight weeks”, ruling him out of action until March.
Rogic hasn’t since played for Celtic since early December after he bagged a knee injury which originally appeared set to rule him until only early in the new year.
The 25-year-old was spotted at the club training ground Monday and posted an image from the session on Instagram, raising speculation he could make an earlier return to the team.

However, the Bhoys manager downplayed the speculation and said there was no clear time-frame for his return.
The former Liverpool boss said:
“Tom has been out for a little while,”
“He was merely getting involved in our warm up, he still has a bit of time to go, there is no definitive time on him yet.
“We’ll need to wait and see but it was good to get him out on the grass, you see his influence and what you miss with a player like Tom.”
Rogic, who got injured in the lead-up to the 2014 World Cup, is unlikely to be fit to make the new Australia boss starting XI for the Socceroos upcoming friendlies against Norway and Colombia in late March.
