Tottenham must bounce back from their disappointing defeat against Manchester United with a brilliant performance in the Champions League on Wednesday night against Real Madrid.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s side welcome European giants Real Madrid to Wembley Stadium as they look to seal their place in the knockout stages of the competition.

Tottenham showed a superb performance against Madrid a fortnight ago at Santiago Bernabeu and came away with a 1-1 draw, in a match where Spurs could have easily taken all three points.

Both sides are level on points in the group but the North London club must do everything within their reach to cause an upset and beat the La Liga champions and European Cup holders in midweek in order to enhance their chances of finishing in first place.

It might be the right time to face Real Madrid after they endured a shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of newly-promoted La Liga side Giron on the weekend, leaving the Los Blancos eight points behind bitter rivals Barcelona in the league table.

After missing out on the weekend, Pochettino might also feel this clash with Real has come around too soon for talisman Harry Kane.

Football Weeks takes a look at the best possible Tottenham starting line-up that should be field against Real Madrid to secure a memorable win over Zinedine Zidane‘s side which includes five changes from the weekend.
