Leeds struggled to break down 10-man Preston but the Red Devils academy product, who signed on a season-long loan last week, was one of their outstanding performers.[spacer height=”20px”]
He was the third player substituted by manager Thomas Christiansen when he was replaced by winger Stuart Dallas after 82 minutes.[spacer height=”20px”]
But Leeds supporters took to social media to enthuse about the calibre and quality of the on-loan United youngster.[spacer height=”20px”]

He made the breakthrough under former United manager Louis van Gaal in the second half of 2015-16 but did not get a look-in under Jose Mourinho and spent most of last season on loan at Wolves, where he struggled to make an impact.[spacer height=”20px”]

76' Great play from Hernandez and Borthwick-Jackson who crosses first time, Preston clear for a corner 0-0

Borthwick-Jackson was good BTW. Both full-backs had good games, but then, one of them is Luke Ayling so that's a given. #LUFC
