Manchester United loanie Cameron Borthwick-Jackson was handed his league debut by Leeds United in their goalles Championship draw against Preston on Saturday – and Leeds fans took to Twitter to hail the on-loan defender.[spacer height=”20px”]

The 20-year-old was selected at left-back in place of the injured Gaetano Berardi after making his debut for the Yorshire giants at centre-back in their midweek 4-1 League Cup win against Port Vale.[spacer height=”20px”]

Leeds struggled to break down 10-man Preston but the Red Devils academy product, who signed on a season-long loan last week, was one of their outstanding performers.[spacer height=”20px”]

He was the third player substituted by manager Thomas Christiansen when he was replaced by winger Stuart Dallas after 82 minutes.[spacer height=”20px”]
