Crystal Palace striker Fraizer Campbell is a transfer target of Premier League newly promoted club Huddersfield Town according to reports from The Sun as he reaches the end of his contract, with the Eagles showing no signs of offering him a new deal.
The 29-year-old joined Palace in the summer of 2014 from Cardiff City but hasn’t been able to establish himself as a key part of the team at the Selhurst Park. This last season, he made only 13 appearances, scoring just a single goal. Since his move, the former Manchester United academy man registered 50 appearances for the Eagles, finding the back of the net on just 8 occasions and will leave the club as a disappointment.
With Christian Benteke and the injured Connor Wickham the only two forwards at Palace’s disposal, they will need to bring in a new face to replace the exit-bound Campbell and here are three options that they can look to invest on this summer:
Diego Falcinelli (Sassuolo)

Diego Falcinelli spent the season out of the club on loan at Crotone and had a brilliant season, finishing with 13 goals from 35 games, helping them to just avoid the relegation with a 17th placed finish. The 25-year-old made 39% of Crotone’s goals in the Italian division.
The Italian made his debut for Sassuolo back in 2009, but has since been on a series of loan spells and as a result, he has managed just 11 appearances for the team. Falcinelli recently signed a long-term contract with the club that runs until the summer of 2020, but considering that he has hardly been able to break into the team, the Italian side may consider shipping him out. He may not be the biggest of the names, but he has shown that he can deliver the goods and could be a risk worth taking for the Eagles.
Benjamin Moukandjo (FC Lorient)

Benjamin Moukandjo has been making the rounds lately over a possible move to the Selhurst Park if the reports from the Daily Mail bears any fruit. The 28-year-old has spent his entire footballing career in France and has had two strong season for Lorient since joining in 2015.
The Cameroonian man finished the season with 13 goals from 25 Ligue 1 appearances – close to 30% of their 44 goals this season, but could not save his side from relegation. With just one year left on his current deal with the French side, it will not be a surprise if they look to cash in on him. An established player for the Cameroon national team, he has bagged 8 goals in 47 international appearances and was part of Cameroon team that won the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. A good and dribbler and finisher, Moukandjo could prove to be a good addition to Crystal Palace’s team.
Fernando Torres (Atletico Madrid)

Fernando Torres would be an over-ambitious approach but the Eagles can look at the option of signing the Spaniard too in the summer. Since leaving the Anfield, he has struggled to find his best form and had disappointing seasons at Chelsea and AC Milan.
However, Torres did manager to get some goals upon his return to Atletico Madrid, proving that he still has it in him. He finished the season with 8 goals and created 6 assists from 44 games and with the Roji Blancos not looking to extend his contract, he will be available for free this summer. He may be the force that he used to be but with his huge experience, he could be a good option to have in the ranks.
