Summer acquisition of Demarai Gray and Wilfried Zaha could spark a great season for the Spurs.
Tottenham Hotspur are one of the many teams in the Premier League that will be looking to boost their squad this summer and the manager Mauricio Pochettino has been looking at some exciting stars recently to sign them for the club at the end of the season. Two names that constantly making the rounds around the White Hart Lane are reigning champions Leicester City’s Demarai Gray and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha. How will the duo fit onto the Spurs squad next season if the Argentine finally lure them to the club.
Crystal Palace’s forward Wilfried Zaha has been in superb form for the Eagles this season has been taking over the media this season. Zaha his finally finding some consistency and his experience in the league will surely help the Argentine manager to comp with his side next season.

The Foxes man Demarai Gray on the other hand, is one of the most exciting youngsters to be in the English football and is attracting huge interest from top clubs in England. However, moving to White Hart Lane wouldn’t guarantee him playing as the Spurs first-choice next season but could play a huge role in their campaign. So here is how Mauricio Pochettino might line up the English duo in his squad next season.
Tottenham back line could remain the same, with Hugo Lloris, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose all playing well to their places this season. Mousa Dembele is the playmaker in the midfield who would start regularly, while Victor Wanyama/Eric Dier can act as his partners in a slightly deeper role. Argentine boss likes to have three attacking players playing behind his striker, and that marksman will be Harry Kane next season as well.
Dele Alli has been in incredible form in a number 10 role and has already nailed his spot in the side for the years to come. Christian Eriksen has found some impressive form recently and he should be the first choice for North London club unless he has a very bad start to the new season. In such scenario, Zaha has just one place fill here, and his performance this season might see him walk straight into that Spurs first team.
Pochettino’s compatriot Eric Lamela, had a great start to the season, he might not be back until the beginning of the season and cannot be the first choice. Though Heung-Min Son has been impressive this season on the wing, it does not look like the Spurs boss will favour him in the first team next season. The Ivory Coast international could take advantage of this situation at White Hart Lane and start on the wing regularly if he moves to North London.

Demarai Gray, also a winger, would be expected to play a similar role but he might not be a regular started for the Spurs in the Premier League. However, the Leicester man could turn into the man that can them to some Cup victories. Tottenham have not won a trophy for quite a while now and need depth in the squad to compete on all four fronts and that is what Gray will bring to the club next season.
The 20-year-old creativity and ability with the can also help the North London club in tough games, making him an important player at the club. Surely, Spurs summer acquisition of Demarai Gray and Wilfried Zaha would prove to be the best thing since slice bread. Below is how the lineup would be next season with the duo:
