Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp will be gutted with the way his prestige side dropped a couple of points against Bournemouth at Anfield earlier in the week. But the German boss will know that he had a worn-out squad, thanks to the injuries that have hit the team recently. The former Borussia Dortmund boss is sure to spend big this summer transfer window, as speculations suggest that he could be given a war chest of around £150m to spend in the transfer window. In additions to that incomes from sales in the summer, the Reds could end up with a marquee signings at the end of the season. The Merseyside have already been looking at some of the biggest stars in Europe and might break their transfer record for a couple of them this summer. However, not known for spending big, here are three world strikers that Jurgen Klopp should target with his £150m this summer:

3. Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal):

The least possible option, but one that the Reds should try, is Arsenal’s and Chilean international Alexis Sanchez. Argubly one of the best finishers and productive in front of goal in Europe. The former Barcelona striker has 22 goals and 18 assists to his name this season and has always in sensational form for the Gunners. Sanchez is yet to agree an extension with the club and is linked with a move to Chelsea and PSG and there is no reason why Jurgen Klopp’s side should not try and meet the requirement. The North London club will not be ready to sell to rivals but surely, breaking the bank for £70m on the Chilean will be a money well spent for Liverpool for the upcoming season. Sanchez will solve more than just one problem at the club and should a target for the Reds who have 150m budget to spend this summer.

2. Yannick Carrasco (Atletico Madrid):

Here is another star Liverpool would be dreaming to see at Anfield. Belgian international Yannick Carrasco. He is 23-year-old and has been in exceptional form for the Spanish side this season, bagging 12 goals and created five assist in all competition for his side.  Carrasco signed a new contact at the beginning of the season but a good bid from Liverpool may tempt the Spanish side to sell their prized asset. Jurgen Klopp lacks a quality player who can add balance to the attack and the French boss would be searching for a player who can complement Mane on the other wing. So the Spaniard could be a sensational option but the Reds will have to break the bank to see him at the Anfield.

1. Andrea Belotti (Torino):

Andrea Belotti

Arguably one of the best strikers in his position at the moment, Belotti is a striker who will be in demand at the end of the season. He has bagged 25 goals and notched four assists in all competitions this season and has been subject of transfer this season. Belotti being an epitome of everything the Reds have missed this season, he is a target man with superb finishing abilities and also a player who the Reds will love to have in their squad where opponents sit back and defend. Belotti will add dynamism to Klopp’s attack but he won’t come cheap, thanks to his contract that only runs down in 2021 with Torino. But with his quality on offer, Klopp should not hesitate to spend a great chunk of the war chest on the 23-year old this summer.
