Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp have a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season but the Reds will have to improve certain areas in their squad to compete with the best sides in Europe next season. The Reds former Borussia Dortmund boss would be looking to bring some new additions to the club. Two Real Madrid players Marco Asensio and James Rodriguez are now reportedly in the limelight.
It looks like Real manager Zinedine Zidane, might make big changes at the Bernabeu and this might see the Frenchman let the duo leave for the right price. Per reports, it’s believe that the duo could cost a combined fee of £92m, with the Reds ready to spend big for a challenging season, it remains to be seen if these duo would move to Anfield. But in order for them to stand a chance for the EPL title next, here is why Liverpool should must sign the duo this summer.
James and Asensio have not been part of Real’s mainstream under Zidane this season but they have been extremely superb in front of goal in their limited appearances. This season James has a record of 9 goals and 12 assists in 23 appearances in all competition for the Los Blancos whilst Asensio has been production, bagging 8 goals in just 11 starts for Real this season. The duo are versatile and can bring an end to almost every problems at Anfield.

Why? Because, Asensio is capable of playing in a midfield role and he can be add to the likes of Adam Lallana and Georgio Wijnaldum as a part of the midfield three while also making cover for the front three if needed. Asensio can play on the wing in an advances role and the Spain under-21 is capable of creating and finishing off chances for his side. At 21, he is strong, comfortable holding the ball up and this along with exceptional dribbling abilities, make him a perfect player for a Premier League club, and especially Liverpool.
Rodriguez as an already established international and also among the best in the business at the moment, he wants a play regularly at the highest level in his natural position and with Real Madrid, such cannot be guaranteed. The Colombian may well consider facing the exit at Bernabeu come this end of season. Capable of being utilized in the number 10 role to perfection, he can play in any of Liverpool’s midfield roles and can be part of their regular midfield three whilst having the ability to play in the attacking role for Liverpool.
Rodriguez is an exceptional dribbler, an accurate passer, and an astonishing finisher. He comes with all the skills and tricks in the book that make him hard to handle and he can beyond doubt turn out to be a top class acquisition for Jurgen Klopp. Though they will consider breaking the bank in sealing their transfer as the duo would cost more than £90m this summer. They are one of the most versatile players available in the transfer market and if the Reds boss managers to sign to bring to Anfield, there will be less worry about his midfield and attack for years to come. At 21 and 25, the duo are good options for the future too.
