According to reports making rounds in Spain, Chelsea could be planning a potential £160,000 per week deal for Real Madrid Midfielder Isco. Though Isco is overpriced, Chelsea will be able to afford him and they are ready to lure him away from league rivals Tottenham.

The Spanish playmaker does not get enough playing under Real Madrid Boss Zinedine Zidane as there are many other players who can play the midfield well enough in the squad and this could make Isco want out of the club.

What could Isco have to offer the Blues?

Real Madrid’s Isco

Isco versatility would endear him to Conte. He can deployed to the midfield, flanks and behind the forwards. The Madrid playmaker thrives in any position he finds himself on the field

Despite being on the bench for the better part of two seasons, he’s still managed to find the net seven times in 23 La Liga appearances and set up five goals. A force to reckon with in the central park, Isco is known for his natural ability to pick out an inch-perfect pass with his passing accuracy rated 90% this season.

What he lacks in strength he makes up for it with his speed, vision, creativity and his ability to make spontaneous decision to help in difficult situations

How well will he settle into the squad?

A move to the London club will see Isco reuniting with fellow Spaniards like Pedro, Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta, and this would help him settle in faster.

After representing Spain at all the various youth level since he first got a call up to the Under-16 squad back in 2008, the 24-year-old has made 19 appearances for the national side where he played alongside his potential teammates for next year.

With the number of talent in the Blues squad, a move for Isco might look strange, but with the Blues partaking in four campaigns next year, an addition like Isco would be invaluable.

Though his wage of £160,000 per week is on the high side for someone who has had limited opportunities in the first team, the Spaniard is worth every penny of it.
