The Hammers slipped to the 12th place in the EPL table after their recent loss of form in the league but they have been decent this season at their new Olympic Stadium. However, Slaven Bilic’s side have only a little chance of qualifying for Europe’s top flight this coming season, which might cost the Croatian manager his job.
They have failed to lift a trophy under Bilic but they have been competing well with the best sides in the league in the previous season. With the lack of progress this season, there have been vast reports suggesting that they are set to sack Bilic and that they are already in the market for new replacements for the Croatian, including the title-winning manager from the past campaign.
David Wagner (Huddersfield Town)
The shocking and unbelievable entry in this list is Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner. The German tactician has worked under Jurgen Klopp at the Signal Iduna Park in his hometown and is on the verge of taking Huddersfield Town to their first ever Premier League promotion.
Though the 45-year-old tactician signed a new contract just last year, he has a clause that allows him to leave for a bigger club and the Hammers are reportedly looking to lure him to London. Wagner is an ideal manager who spends hours and hours on the training without any doubt would be a game changer for West Ham United.
Roberto Mancini
Roberto Mancini who performed wonders with Manchester City in the Premier League lost his job with Serie A side Inter Milan earlier this season and is currently unemployed. Mancini recently revealed that he is waiting for a new job and the Hammers are considering replacing him as an option to replaced Slaven Bilic this campaign. The Italian manager has won 12 different trophies as a manager and has a brilliant record of one of the best winning percentages as a manager in the Premier League. Mancini is also a trophy specialist and a boss who can take West Ham United back to their best.
Claudio Ranieri
It would not be right not to mention the former Leicester City manager who was behind the fairy tale at King Power Stadium last season. The Italian boss helped the Foxes to an impossible title-winning season and though Ranieri lost his job just few months later, he deserves to be remembered for his wonders with the Foxes. Being crowned the EPL champion is not an easy victory to achieve and Ranieri must be remembered for his miracle. This shows that with his record and achievement with the Foxes, he is capable of managing West Ham.
The Hammer should not delay too much if they want him the Italian tactician manager at the Olympic stadium this summer as he will not be without a job for too long and they will have to act quickly if they are so keen on getting a replacement for Slaven Bilic at the end of the season.
