Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain with his current contract expiring at the end of this season and a new contract has not been negotiated. The exit of Wenger may also lead to Arsenal losing some of their key players. Those players include:
Mesut Ozil
It is almost certain that the German midfielder will not commit his future to Arsenal if Wenger will not be in charge next season. The World Cup winner current contract expires at the end of next season and has been stalling on signing a new contract since last summer, probably to be sure of Wenger’s decision before making his own decision.
Alexis Sanchez
Just like Ozil, the Chilean international forward future at the Emirates Stadium is up in the air and his current deal expires at the end of next season too. Also delaying in signing a new contract, he has been linked with some big clubs around Europe and could be out of Arsenal this summer.
Hector Bellerin
The French left-back have been linked with a move back to Barcelona and will reportedly consider his future at the Emirates if Wenger leaves at the end of the season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The English midfielder is already on the radar of Manchester United with a £30M deal reportedly on the cards and may choose to move to the Old Trafford at the departure of Wenger. The French boss has been keeping faith in the midfielder despite his inconsistency and may not enjoy such from a new manager.
Jack Wilshere
Already on loan at Bournemouth with lots of clubs in the Premier league interested in his services, the English midfielder could be on his way out of Arsenal if Wenger leaves. Like Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere has been inconsistent and a new manager may decide to cut him loose rather than keeping faith in him.
