According to reports, Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer move for Manchester City loanee Joe Hart in the summer.

The England No. 1 goalkeeper is currently on a season-long loan with Serie A side Torino FC after new city manager Pep Guardiola made it clear that the two-time Premier League winner was not part of his plans for the Citizens.

Now, Daily Mail are claiming Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering Hart as a long-time replacement for Petr Cech with the former Czech Republic No. 1 expected to become the backup choice at the Emirates.

For any deal to come to fruition, Guardiola’s side would be looking for a fee in the region of £15 million for the 29-year-old shot stopper, who has kept five clean sheets in 21 Serie A appearances this season.

Despite getting Claudio Bravo as Hart’s replacement last summer, the goalie is finding it hard to adapt to the English top flight, these are raising suggestions that Bravo’s stay with Man City is likely to come to an abrupt end this summer.

However, for Arsenal to sign Hart, the Gunners will face keen competition from Liverpool whose interest in the goalkeeper was made known in January, while some foreign clubs are also said to be interested in him. Although, the Gunners and the Reds are favourites in signing the England international as Hart is believed to prefer a move back to the Premier League.
