Manchester City have now admit they have no intention of selling striker Sergio Aguero despite his low importance to the team under new manager Pep Guardiola and interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Although the Argentine still remains City’s highest goal scorer this season with 11 goals he has found himself on the bench in recent games, particularly with the summer acquisition of teenager Gabriel Jesus to the team.
According to Squawka News PSG are among top host club interested in the service of the Argentine, while report from Telegraph also claim the Les Blues are also lining up audacious bid for Alexis Sanchez whose is yet to commit his long-term future with Arsenal.
Aguero has only played just 31 minutes in his side last two Premier League games – a 4-0 win against West Ham United and a 2-1 win over Swansea at the Etihad Stadium.
Jesus has bagged three goals in his first two league games for the Sky Blues but the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager had stated to keep Aguero at the club beyond this summer, six years after moving to Manchester from Atletico Madrid.
The 28-year-old current contract, which was signed last year, keeps him with the club until 2020 but his Spanish boss is known for being ruthless in his management style, as seen of the season when he sent Joe Hart on loan to Torino, and completely dropped Yaya Toure after derogatory comments from the midfielder’s agent.
