Zlatan Ibrahimovic has continued to break records as he became the oldest player to score 15 goals in the Premier League in a season.

The Swedish forward has proved his doubters wrong with his performances since arriving Old Trafford in the summer. Many had thought, due to his age, the former Inter Milan attacker would find life difficult in the Premier League due to its physical demand and rigors.

Ibrahimovic scored on Sunday against Leicester City to achieve that feat making it his 20th goal and 15th league goal for Man United- the oldest player to o do so in England’s top flight at 35 years and 125 days. The goal also made him the first to reach the 20-goal mark since Robin Van Persie under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The charismatic striker has proved that he cannot be phased out in any league around Europe, with notable goal scoring records and achievements under his belt in Italy, Spain and France.

Ibrahimovic is not done yet as there are still 14 Premier League gamed to be played as well as domestic competition s, so there is possibility of him breaking more records.

The former Juvnetus, Barcelona and AC Milan forward had failed to reach the double figures for league goals in only one season in each of his last 11 seasons.

He has netted more than 20 times in all competitions in 10 consecutive seasons- a record matched only by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in Europe’s top five leagues. He scored 38 league goals for PSG as they won the Ligue 1 again with a 31-point gap over their closest rivals Lyon and Monaco.
