Chelsea defender Baba Rahman would be taking a long break following a serious injury he sustained playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nation.
The 22-year-old was stretchered off the field during the opening game of his National.
As per report revealed by Sky Sports, the left-back has a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and damaged meniscus.

He would need to undergo surgery to fix the damage. Rahman joined Schalke on loan from Chelsea.
He was flown to London over the weekend, where series of test were carried out on him and the extent of the injury was verified.
Rahman has made 21 appearance for Schalke since arriving on loan in Germany.

Rahman joined the West London club in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of £21.7m and made only 23 appearances before the Blues manager Antonio Conte took over in the summer and decided to loan him out as he was deemed to surplus to requirement.
