Alexis Sanchez has been stalling over a new contract since summer and it appears he has received some sort of support not commit his future to the club.

He has been reportedly offered £200,000 per week but the Chilean forward is holding out for an excess of that amount.

His situation is being monitored by a number of clubs across Europe and Arsenal are evidently not prepared to lose any of their star players again.

Sanchez’s future at the Emirates remain shrouded in uncertainty and speculations about his exit from the club became rife following Arsenal’s 3-3 draw with Bournemouth. The Gunners found themselves 3 goals down before the 60th minute before netting three goals with 20 minutes left to salvage a point.

Sanchez was visibly not happy with the result and was reported to have expressed his displeasure at the time wasted by Olivier Giroud in celebrating the equalizer when from Sanchez perception they should have gone for the winner. He reportedly refused to have a word with anyone in the dressing room after the match.

With all these summed together, the Chilean attacker has been backed to maintain his stand by not signing a new contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain aiming to sign him in the summer.

Sanchez has 18 months left on his current contract and PSG believes they can snatch him for £60 million in the summer when he will have just 12 months remaining on his contract.

Patrick Kluviert, PSG’s director of football is a huge admirer of the attacker and hopes the contract saga will continue till summer.

Arsene Wenger has insisted the club want Sanchez to remain with them but maintained that there is a limit to what they can pay.
