Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal remains in doubt, his current contract expires at the end of this season and there has been no negotiation concerning an extension. There has been calls from different quarters – fans, pundits and ex-Arsenal players that the French boss should step down from his post.[spacer height=”20px”]
They were of the opinion that his football ideologies are no longer relevant to the present style of football. He clocked 20 years at Arsenal in October but has not won the Premier League in the last 12 years and this has made the fans to call for his sack and they went as far as displaying banners on that in one of their matches last season.[spacer height=”20px”]
However, while he is no more wanted at the Emirates, French champions Paris Saint-Germain are making all efforts to bring him to the club next summer. The Qatari backed-club had made two attempts, in 2011 and 2013 to lure Wenger to Ligue 1 but he has rejected their offers.[spacer height=”20px”]

PSG President Nasser Al-Khelafi has continued to maintain a close relationship with the Gunners boss and are aware that the 67-year-old cannot leave Arsenal before the end of the season.
