Fast, precise, goals, assists, young, talented.

All these keywords and probably a dozen more could be attached in front of Kylian Mbappe’s name.

Such is the brilliance of Kylian Mbappe. His ability to do things with the ball is unmatched at his age.

He is an excellent dribbler, he can score, he can assist, but what stands out is his ridiculous pace, Mbappe is the fastest player in the world without a shadow of a doubt. He is an absolute joy to watch.

Mbappe can make you feel young again you know.

He is a phenomenon who has world football at his feet at only 23 years of age.

His recent endeavors, helped Paris win the first leg of the champions league round of 16 against the Los Blancos by 1-0.

A late, late Mbappe goal sent PSG into ecstasy. A backheel from Neymar to Mbappe who was just outside the box on the top left side of the pitch gave him the possession.

He then waited and waited and finally exploited the gap which he was aiming for. A nonexistent gap between two real Madrid defenders standing very close to each other.

He went past them in a woosh and scored right through Thibaut Courtois’s legs.

If the rumors are true, then this was the perfect audition by Mbappe for Real Madrid.

So, this is the perfect time to talk about Mbappe and his extraordinary journey from a modest child in the suburbs of Paris to global stardom.

The Suburbs

Kylian Mbappe was born from Wilfried Mbappe and Fayza Mbappe. His father is from Cameroon and his mother is an Algerian descent.

His father is a football coach and his mother was a former professional handball player, and to top that off he was born 6 months later when France won the 98 World Cup.

So, all the stars were aligned for him to be a professional athlete!

Mbappe was obsessed with football, he played all day round and his father can testify, he could watch 4-5 football matches in a row.

The suburbs were filled with violence and hate. But Mbappe continued to live through, despite that. Maybe he found his escapism and optimism when football was on his mind.

Kylian once shared the origin of his famous celebration. The cross-hand celebration is actually borrowed from his younger brother. His younger brother Ethan did the exact same thing when he thrashed Mbappe on PlayStation playing FIFA!

So, this was the life of one Kylian Mbappe while growing up!

The Academies

Mbappe began his career with AS Bondy, where his father was a coach. Following that, he continued his football career at the Clairefontaine academy.

In 2011, he graduated from there. The academy is regarded as one of the greatest in France. Clairefontaine academy graduates include Thierry Henry, William Gallas, Balise Matuidi, and Nicholas Anelka.

And now they can add Kylian Mbappe to that list as well!

His excellent performance caught the eyes of many clubs. Real Madrid and Valencia were interested. Even Chelsea was interested in him. Mbappe did appear for a trial in Chelsea’s youth team, where he played a match against Charlton.

Even the great Zidane asked him to join the Los Blancos but his father trusted Monaco more and made Mbappe join them.

The road to Stardom

Mbappe made his senior debut for Monaco at only 16 years and 347 days old. Beating out the record previously held by Thierry Henry for the club.

After that, you know too well what happened.

He was a phenomenon at Monaco, he led them to win the Ligue 1 in the 16/17 season and he also reached the Champions League semi-finals in the same season.

He won the World Cup with France in 2018, while he was only a teenager!

Later, He signed for the biggest club in France and also his home city, Paris. He plays alongside Neymar and Leonel Messi, and that is an accomplishment he can be very proud of.

Mbappe is the one for the future.

His skills and prowess are unmatched, except by one Norwegian football player named Erling Braut Haaland.

Mbappe and Haaland are the stars of the future. And we hope they can replicate the same magic that Leonel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo create.

Where to for Mbappe next? – in all probability, next summer he will not be playing for the capital of France but the capital of Spain.

Mbappe in a Real Madrid shirt would be a force that will tear apart the world.
