Chelsea are monitoring Sampdoria striker Luis Muriel and the Blues manager Antonio Conte could sanction a bid next summer, according to reports in Italy.
Muriel, 25, has been in fine form for the Serie A side this season having already scored six goals in 14 league appearances so far.
However, according to Calciomercato via Metro, they claim the Premier League leaders are keeping a close eye on the Colombia international’s progress, but will not submit an offer until the end of the campaign.
Muriel, who has been dubbed the ‘Colombian Ronaldo’ for his similar playing style to the legendary Brazilian, has a release clause of £24m.
