The Premier League witnessed the influx of star players in the summer. The league has seen suffered the departure of big players to Spain most especially in recent seasons and this also coincided with the inability of English teams to win the Champions League and Europa League since 2012 and 2013 respectively which were both won by Chelsea in those years.
The signing of Paul Pogba made it the first an English team club will sign a player for a world record fee. the French midfielder made the switch from Italian club Juventus to Man United for £89M.The previous record fees of £80M and £85M saw the departure of Crisitano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale to Real Madrid in 2009 and 2013 respectively.

He registered his name in the Premier League with three goals in his first two matches. Taken back by a period of goal drought he bounced back with double against Swansea at the weekend and has scored eight goals so far. We should expect more goals from him.
