According to reports, Arsenal are looking forward to seal a transfer deal with James Rodriguez as a replacement for Mesut Ozil.

The report is according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, which claims the Colombia No. 10 would be very much pleased about the possibility of joining the North London club.

The Gunners boss Unai Emery is in the pursuit to sign Rodriguez as Ozil replacement irrespective of the Colombian international’s price tag of €60 million.

As things stands, the signing of James might be the best thing since slice bread for Arsenal considering the fact that the duo of Ramsey and Ozil might be leaving the club anytime soon.

The 27-year-old has so far proven himself to be a quality player with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Rodriguez has netted 47 goals and 56 assists in 161 appearances for both Bayern and Real altogether, qualifying him fit for the European football games at his best.

If the report from the Spanish outlet or you can say Don Balon is anything to go by, James would be Arsenal’s perfect option to replace Mesut Ozil should the German eventually leave the club
