A report from the Daily Star claims Chelsea wing-back/winger Victor Moses will leave the club and likely to join Crystal Palace in January for a reported £12m after the Nigerian is now far down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge.
The Blues new gaffer has changed the team’s style of play, meaning a change in system from three at the back to a more traditional 4-3-3 system. As such, Moses who was successful during the course of 2016/17 season, won’t be able to get into Chelsea team. All left for Moses now has to be a solid full-back or a competent winger.
Celtic on the other hand, looks to be shaky on the league table and with just two points ahead of Rangers and Kilmarnock, the league table looks very much open for a challenge at this moment. Goals have been hard to come by for the Hoops, and in their past few outings, the concession rate has increased as well.
Therefore, the addition of Moses to Rodgers’ team will help. The ex-former Crystal Palace academy man knows the club ins and out and he possesses the pace and crossing quality to make a difference for the team.
