Celtic travel to New Douglas Park to face Hamilton Academicals in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon and are big favourites to pick up all three points.

The Hoops could go 13 points with a win over Hamilton this weekend, moving one step closer to securing their seventh consecutive league title, and will fancy their chances of coming out on top given recent form.

Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side are currently top of the Premiership with 72 points from 32 games this season, coming off the back of three wins and two draws from their last five outings. The Bhoys have won four of their previous half a dozen away games too.

As for the hosts, Martin Canning’s Hamilton side are eight places and 42 points worse off than Celtic ahead of Sunday’s meeting. The Accies have lost three on the bounce, being without a win in four games, and have lost three of their last five home games in the league.

Celtic have dominated this fixture in the past too, boasting five wins from their last five head-to-head meetings. The Hoops have only lost once to Hamilton in 10 years and will be determined to get a result as they close in on the league crown.

Hamilton will put up a fight, however, as they’re looking to keep away from the relegation.
