Manchester City-owned Celtic winger Patrick Roberts has said that he appreciates the atmosphere at Celtic Park than at the Etihad Stadium, as quoted by The Daily Record.
Roberts joined Celtic on loan from the Premier League side in the summer of 2017. He is a firm favourite among the fans of the Glasgow giants, and Roberts’ comments about Celtic Park atmosphere being better than the Etihad Stadium is only going to endear him more to the Hoops supporters.
Robert, as quoted by the Daily Record when asked who have the better atmosphere – “Celtic or Manchester City”
He said:

“That’s not really a question. It’s easy, Celtic.
“They are the best (fans) I will probably ever play in front of. Celtic by a mile, especially Champions League nights are special. Something I will take with me wherever I go.”
Roberts is a very good winger who is in his second year at Celtic at the moment. Given the competition of surrounding City first-team and the quality of players under Pep Guardiola, it would be hard for the ex-Fulham youngster to find a regular starting lineup to feature for the Citizens next season.
Perhaps it would be best for the young Englishman if he remains at Celtic for the 2018-19 season on loan from City.
City signed the youngster from Fulham in the summer of 2015 for a reported transfer fee believed to be worth £11 million.
