Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been linked as Arsene Wenger successor at Arsenal this summer – but the Arsenal faithfuls don’t seem pleased in seeing the Norther Irishman taking over Wenger at the Emirates.

Wenger is starting to seriously feel the exit pressure after his side Sunday’s diabolical Carabao Cup Final defeat to Manchester City, and the Telegraph are claiming his replacements are already being lined up by the club’s hierarchy.

Apparently, Rodgers appears to be on the list along with other managers in the likes Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim, Germany’s Joachim Lowe and Man City coach Mikel Arteta, with Wenger’s current contract at the club due to run out in the summer of 2019.

But if that expiry date was to be brought forward 12 months, and Rodgers was offered the job in North London, it seems as though he’d have a lot of fans to convince first:

Would Brendan Rodgers really be that bad a shout as Arsenal manager?

What do you think?
