BBC Sport Scotland pundit Tam McManus has taken to Twitter to troll Celtic star James Forrest for looking as though he is wearing boys’ shorts in the 1-0 Europa League win against Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday night.

The 26-year-old was in sensational form against the Russian side at Parkhead, but the BBC journalist seemed distracted by the Partick Thistle match-winner for Celtic tight shorts rather than his performances.

The former Hibernian player turned pundit suggested Forrest had been working on his leg muscles in the gym on his personal Twitter handle during the game.

“Has James Forrest been squatting 200kg or has he got small boys’ shorts on,” he said.
