Chelsea’s Charly Musonda is reportedly on the verge of signing for Celtic before the transfer deadline – and there’s a lot of Chelsea supporters who’d hate to idea of the club allowing the promising youngster leave.

The 21-year-old Belgium international has been marked as a potential star amongst coaches at Stamford Bridge for some time now but hasn’t get enough first-team game-time under Blues current manager Antonio Conte.

According to The Herald, the young Belgian will sign for Celtic on-loan, potentially for the next 18 months, in a deal similar to the one which saw Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts join the Scottish champions.

Musonda was an unused sub for Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Newcastle in the FA Cup, and was left on the bench as the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ethan Ampadu were given run-outs.

It’s perhaps understandable why Musonda wants more playing opportunities – but these Chelsea fans want it to be in the club Blues’s jersey, rather than the green and white of Celtic.

Bhoys and girls, what do you think of the Musonda’s to Celtic situation. Would the young Belgian be an instant hit at the Parkhead? Let us know in the comment box below.
