A reason why Everton have been poor so far this season is because they have failed to replace Romelu Lukaku. Here are three strikers who they should look to sign in January to replace Lukaku’s goal.

Cedric Bakambu

Cedric Bakambu is a prolific striker for Spanish side Villarreal. The 26-year-old who stands 6ft 0inc has scored 42 goals in 96 games for Villareal since he joined them in 2015. Before he moved to Spain, Bakamby had previously played for Sochaux in France and made his breakthrough in 2012 and he netted 18 goals into seasons before moving to Bursaspor. In his one season in Russia, he scored 21 goals in 40 games which earned him a move to Spain. Bakambu is a prolific goalscorer and would be perfect for Everton.

Sandro Wagner

Wagner is a real useful in the Bundesliga. Wagner plays for Hoffenheim and his goals have earned him his international debut in June and Wagner has since registered 6 Germany appearances and he seen the net 5 times. His form has got better with age, the German is now 29 but in the best form of his career. He had played for the likes of Bayern Munich, Duisburg, Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin but he has never been consistent. However, Wagner’s move to Darmstadt in 2015 saved his career. He netted 15 goals in the Bundesliga so Hoffenheim signed him in June 2016. He has scored 11 for them last season and has started this season well too.

Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud, Everton’s prime target. The Arsenal striker has never gets a consistent run in the team. The French international scores goals for Arsenal when he plays but Giroud hasn’t been able to register a starting spot at the Emirates, mainly due to the club record signing of Alexandre Lacazette in the summer. A move to Everton would really help Giroud’s career. The ex-Montpellier star has had his critics at Arsenal but has been a good player to the Gunners. Giroud’s aeriel threat makes him a useful player for Arsenal and he has scored some brilliant goals for them.
