Tottenham’s showed an impressive performance against Real Madrid at the Bernebeu on Tuesday night, and kept their unbeaten start to this year’s Champions League clash.

A 1-1 draw was no less than the Spurs deserved after taking the lead in the first half.

However, Spurs fans aren’t happy with Serge Aurier performance after he let Real Madrid back into the game. Tottenham took the lead in the first half through a Raphael Varane own goal in the 28th minute.

And Tottenham matched the European giants with counter-attacking tactics proving effective.

However, the 43rd minute, the former Paris Saint-Germain man made a reckless challenge on Toni Kroos in the penalty area.

It looked like the German had lost control of the ball but he tumbled over Aurier and the referee pointed to the spot.

Cristiano Ronaldo made no mistake from the spot and it gave his side a new-found impetus in the second half.

However, they couldn’t break Tottenham down and although a draw is a great result, some fans think it could have been more but for Aurier.
