Stuart Armstrong without any doubts was one of the Scottish champions best player last season but Celtic fans are now starting to worry that his top-quality performances could see him leaving the Scottish league for greener pastures.

The last season has really been one to endure for him, who nailed a role for himself in the Scotland starting XI, as well as playing an important role in the Hoops winning a domestic treble without losing a solitary match.

Armstrong managed to bag an impressive eye-catching 17 goals during last season, leading to report that Premier League giants Southampton FC could be tempted into making a bid for the former Dundee United man. According to Daily Record few days back, it claimed the Saints are still keen on Celtic star as West Brom and Brighton also keep tabs on ace

To add the Celtic fans’ worries, the 25- year-old is out of contract in 12 months’ time, and talk of contract renewal has seemingly gone quiet.

It now seem to be getting a bit too much for some fans. What do you of the speculation? Do they bear fruits?

Could he be leaving Celtic for Southampton or elsewhere for a new career in the English Premier League? Is Armstrong ready for such a step? Let us know below:

I Would love Armstrong to stay but only so much club can do if player wants to go, if he does want to go then sell him asap.
